We have over 40 years of experience in various foundry applications. “We have found the Phoenix Crucible to be the fastest melting, longest lasting and most consistent crucible available. Many of our customers have experienced reduced energy costs and increased crucible life when using our products.” Our manufacturer, Nippon Crucible, was first established in 1885 as a graphite crucible manufacturer in Japan. Since then they have earned a great reputation by many customers. In 1973 Nippon Crucible began manufacturing Iso-Statically pressed, carbon-bonded SIC (silicon carbide) crucibles. With this unique molding process, Nippon has achieved a crucible line with faster, more efficient melt times, longer crucible life, and a higher quality finished product, keeping up with the higher demands of today’s industry standards.
